Taiji is meditation in motion. It is based on a series of slow moving circular movements. It is a highly complex art form that is beautiful and graceful. Taiji may be practised at any age and is spiritually, mentally and physically rewarding. Taiji reduces stress and anxiety and should be practised daily. Taiji relates to Yin and Yang and obtaining perfect balance, the same as Shiatsu. This is embodied in the famous sign of Taiji, the Great Polarity. The dark Yin and the light Yang coil around one another. The opposite dot is in the middle of the other, to become the other. There is a little Yin in all Yang and a little Yang in all Yin. It is the relationship of Yin and Yang.
